Last few days I am unable to post links on my drupal6 site. The only thing I did in between was to update Fusion core theme I was using.

1.When I post a link like <a href="http://tutox.co.cc">Test link1</a>and see the source code of generated HTML what I see is <a>Test link1</a> (Filtered HTML with <a> permitted).

  1. When I do the same with Full HTML format I see source as <a href=\"http://tutox.co.cc\">Test link2</a>

These are things I tried so far:

  1. I disabled CK editor that I was using.

  2. Disabled, removed all non-core themes. Garland is the only theme I use now.

  3. Done update and Cron.

Results are the same. Anybody has an idea? Filtered HTML format has HTML corrector, HTML filter, line break converter, URL filter activated. (I tried disactivating them also). A test version of the site is available here: http://tutox.co.cc/forum/test-link

Thanks for the help.

Have you tried clearing the cache? – Patrick Kenny May 1 '12 at 6:41
put it to full HTML and change the <a href=\"http://tutox.co.cc\">Test link2</a>to <a href="http://tutox.co.cc">Test link2</a> or did you already tried that? – FLY May 1 '12 at 11:06

Problem solved. The problem was php_value magic_quotes_gpc. See here if anybody has similar problem. http://drupal.org/node/1437998
