I have one field called TYPE(select list). I am using field dependency. When I select one field in TYPE, it will open dependent field. Both are required fields. When I am submitting with out filling dependent field(2nd one)..It is throwing two error(both field required).It should not through 2 errors. because parent field I have selected then only dependant field is coming.How can i achieve this..any idea...

why dont you just make dependent field to be not required then? – neok Dec 12 '12 at 11:00
No..Both should be required fields @neok. When I submitting first one I am selecting and second one leaving...so error throw for second field..right......... – Srinu Dec 12 '12 at 11:11
I'm not sure this makes sense, could you clarify? So you have two required textfields, but when one of them is filled out you don't want the other to be required? – Clive♦ Dec 12 '12 at 11:31
I have 2 fields right and both are required fields. When I select first field thensecond one will come(using conditional field we can achieve this). Now if the user doesnot select second one and submit the form. It should throw one error that is econd field should be select. but it throwing 2 errrors like 1) first field required 2) second field required – Srinu Dec 14 '12 at 7:39
