You can use hook_mail_alter to customize the From:

MODULE_NAME_mailMODULE_NAME_mail_alter($key, &$message, $params) {

  switch ($key) {
    case 'my_email_key':
      $message['headers']['From'] = 'My Email Name <[email protected]>';
      break;
  }
}
