Jan 22, 2013 at 16:04 | comment | added | Mohammed Shameem | with in views you can use filters and then expose the filter that would become a search in itself. I think @PatrickKenny has given you a head start on that. if you need more help do let me know.
Jan 22, 2013 at 16:02 | comment | added | stasko | Sorry if i wasn't clear, but i didn't mean I want to do this without views. When I use a search bar all the results pages are Just pages with listed content on it. If there's any way to make that Listed content into a view for every part of my vocabulary group that's awesome, however i'm not aware of that.

Jan 22, 2013 at 15:57 | comment | added | Patrick Kenny | It's fine if you think it's useful, but please explain how the poster might start to implement what he/she wants to do using the module that you suggest. In some cases, just linking to the module is fine, because simply installing and enabling the module would answer the question. That is not the case here, though; this is going to be a complicated setup, so it's best to offer a few pointers about how to use the module that you suggest.

Jan 22, 2013 at 15:49 | comment | added | Patrick Kenny | There is a fair amount of detail in the question about what the poster wants to do. Simply referring them to the Search API module and posting the introduction from the module's page does not really give any insight into how to solve the problem.
