I write a custom entity, and create a bundle with some fields.

Then I custom the bundle edit form template.

And it always worked fine.

But today, I add a image field to this bundle.

When I submit this form (I left some item empty, it should give some error messgae), getting no message.

And when I delete this image field from this bundle, the form work fine again.

Does anyone have meet this situation ?

I'm so puzzling.

  • I'm afraid you are puzzling indeed. You do things, no error messages nothing fails, so what's the question? What's the problem? Also, when talking about your custom code, please show us that code. We can't begin to guess why warning did not appear, when we can't even see how you made your fields required (there are at least 3 approaches, each one of them can be buggy in various ways). – Mołot Jan 21 '14 at 10:05
  • @Mołot, thanks for your reply. I'm sorry for my bad english ability. I use a special template file for a form. And the form work fail when I add a upload image form element. And when remove upload image field, form work fine again. And now I found the key ! Becouse I change the $form['actions']['submit']['#value'] value in the template file. Now I revert it. And form work fine. Thanks again ! – Rylyn Jan 21 '14 at 10:08
  • Remember, you can edit your question at any time! And bad English is not a problem on it's own, if we are sure we know what you asks for, someone with better skill in language can edit it for you and do some cleanup. So concentrate on "clear and understandable", not on "good and pretty" ;) – Mołot Jan 21 '14 at 10:11

I found the key.

I change $form['actions']['submit']['#value'] in the form template file.

When I delete it , the form work fine.
