I am trying to import a webform from another drupal installation, but it was changing the node id of the webform. How can i preserve the node id of the webform ? Is there any module for importing without changing the node id

There are no module allow you to do it, but if you want to transfer webform I suggest you to use Webform share module.

Also, if you just want to determinate webform by any unique id, you should use UUID module.

  • You can use uuid in you code for loading webform node. Or you get nid by uuid. – kala4ek Jun 2 '15 at 16:14
  • Ok.. but i can't do any code changes because of client code base. Is there any other way to achieve this ? – user3686276 Jun 2 '15 at 17:22
  • If you realy need to create webform with the same nid, you can create it manually, by counting nids. – kala4ek Jun 2 '15 at 17:44
  • I tried but the newly creating node ids are already crossed the required id. – user3686276 Jun 2 '15 at 18:16
