I'm not sure if you know how to add CSS to your theme, but it's pretty straightforward. We've written a blog post about how to add it, here Adding CSS in Drupal Design
The reason I mention it, is that it seems the most practical way of gaining these effects, as not everything aesthetic requires a Drupal module.
Should you want to use CSS3 for example, you can easily achieve the effect you require and you can add a CSS ID or Class to certain images once you have input the required CSS code.

In addition, there are jQuery plugins that can help you to create the reflection affect, however the JQuery plugin site is down (under redesign) so I think the CSS3 option is a good solution in the interim.
