When i try to execute drush cc all or drush status i get the following error

Segmentation fault (core dumped) mysql --defaults-extra-file=/tmp/drush_RMieRX --database=sample_acc --host=x16.2xx.xxx.1x0 --port=3306 --silent < /tmp/drush_wwfexO 2>&1

with drush status i also get the follow status

The drupal install is on server A (frontend) and database on server B (backend).Since there is no DB on server A I don't have mysql binary installed on server A. But I have all the drivers /API installed for php to connect to remote DB.how can i fix it?

  • It might not be a drush issue, then. It may very well be a MySQL issue. Can you verify that you can connect to MySQL using the CLI? – nvahalik Mar 28 '17 at 18:42
