I have installed Drupal 8 with a custom subprofile. 'my_custom_profile'.

Development of site is almost completed and we have added all the contents in the site.

In this stage how can I rename my installed subprofile name from 'my_custom_profile' to 'custom_profile'?

Is it possible to update DB entries manually for subprofile?

Ok here is the way to do it:

  1. Edit this line in core.extentions.yml in your config directory to your new name

    my_custom_profile: 1000

  2. Rename your profile directory and clear the cache

  • Thanks for your answer. But in my current core.extentions.yml which is located in docroot\core\config\install\core.extentions.yml which contains only below code: ` module: {} theme: {} profile: '' ` – ARUN Oct 27 '17 at 1:38
  • OK what if you just rename your profile and clear the cache – Jdrupal Oct 27 '17 at 6:45
  • If you have setup config_sync directory in settings.php then try to do a drush cim -y it will import all your sites current configuration. After that look what your core.extentions.yml file is – Jdrupal Oct 27 '17 at 6:51
