I have created a term view and content view for list the terms nodes. How can I show related nodes as insert view in term view block in Drupal 7?

  • Can you describe what you're doing a little more? How are the nodes related? Are these nodes that have a field referencing the terms? Or is there a node field on the individual taxonomy terms? – Matt Jun 18 '18 at 20:28
  • My answer in the above link should also work for attachments and it's all the same for D7. Do steps 1-6 and attach. – No Sssweat Jun 19 '18 at 1:18
  • I have created a content type study and created a taxonomy Study category. Then post some pages under the study type. After that created a term view with study category with the title, image. And another view of study pages. Now I want to get the nodes of study in the term as the view field. – Sohan Jangid Jun 19 '18 at 10:55
  • Does the content type study have a field for the study categories? – Matt Jun 19 '18 at 12:40
  • Yes, Study content type has study categories. – Sohan Jangid Jun 19 '18 at 13:06

To insert one view into another (and pass arguments) as a field use Views Field View module.

You'll have to use Has Taxonomy term ID Contextual filter in your Content Study Views, as No Sssweat suggested in comments, but you only need to choose the option to load it from the term page (not node page). And you don't need the additional ID Contextual filter for any exclusion (because you're not displaying it on node pages).

Then include that Content View as a Field on your Term View, it will automatically filter out correct Studied on each Term row.

  • I have found the solution. In the embed, view need to pass the Contextual filters [!tid]. – Sohan Jangid Jun 20 '18 at 4:36
