I noticed really annoying thing concerning views. It consumes huge amount of memory. I have export made with Drush (Views data export module - allows to export view to a file) and I noticed that it consumes huge amount of memory. At first I've tried to optimize my code, but it won't worked. I cleared views cache in my operation, but it doesn't help. It concerns only complex views (with alterations and relationships).

How to reduce memory usage of views? I ask to make sure that there is some kind of workaround and not to built my own bicycle.

I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because this issue should be discussed on drupal.org. Apart from that VDE drush add-on is an experimental module you should expect that this happens. Debugging then needs to be done by you. And if you then still don't know how to fix it, please ask a new question. – leymannx Sep 26 '18 at 12:29
  • I hope they discontinue VDE drush add-on in favor of the parent module. Related issue: drupal.org/project/views_data_export/issues/2887450 – leymannx Sep 26 '18 at 12:58
  • LOL – You are the maintainer of drupal.org/project/vde_drush! – leymannx Sep 27 '18 at 10:17
