I have a content type with a field for images. The field accepts multiple images and after I upload several, I re-arrange them to a desired order. After re-arranging them, I can enable "Show Row Weights" on the form to show the numerical weight behind the order, and they are in order from lowest (-5, for example) to highest. The lowest weight is at the top of the screen.

Now here is where things get weird. If I remove any image from this set of images, all the images are reordered alphabetically in the form after the response comes back from the Drupal backend. The strange thing is, the row weight numbers are correct. That is the one that should be at the top has the lowest number, but visually it is not at the top.

Is there a way to reload the images so they are in the same order as their row weights? Perhaps with some JavaScript after the fact?
