I have a Drupal 8 site with two languages, English (default language) and Spanish.

English (default) is at / and Spanish is at /es/ via the url detection rule and that rule is on top and the only other rule is the default "Language based on a selected language" which is at the bottom.

When a user goes to an /es/ page, the /es/ remains in the path on all pages they visit after that. I want to force it back to / when Spanish a translation does not exist.

More info, in case it matters: I do not have translation enabled for all content types.
