I have set up entity translate and it lets me add the translations so they are stored in the DB. But when I click on the translated page, all I see is the orginal language which is English. So I these two are identical barring the URL:

www.example.com/en/page-1 (In English)
www.example.com/fr/page-1 (In English)

I am using a tpl oveeride for this particular content type, was wondering if anyone knew what I may be missing, maybe some php at the top of the content type's tpl page? (I am not really that great with php)

If I create a brand new content type and add some fields, the translation works fine, so it has to be do with the tpl ovveride I think.
