I am currently using Drupal 8 and have a content type which contains email field. With the use of views, I am displaying the content title along with email. I want a check list beside each content in view so that I can select them. My end goal is to send bulk email to all the selected content. How do I achieve this?

  • I really wish people who put effort in down vote would also put a small reason for it in comment . Would really help us newbie figure out what we are doing wrong. Maybe some comment like off-topic, basic, poorly worded, trite would help us correct such mistake in future. – Aves2432 Sep 25 '19 at 14:12

I'd imagine its because you've essentially asked "how do I do this" presumably without much investigation yourself and people know there are solutions/previously asked questions out there (which is shown by the fact you found the answer yourself shortly after posting your question). You should try and let people know what you've tried and how you've got stuck finding a solution. e.g. "ive found the views bulk operations module and i'm trying to do xxxx with it and ive seen yyyy but doesn't seem to work, does anyone know how to do this?" – Leigh Sep 25 '19 at 15:05
  • Thank you for your reply!! I will keep that in mind next time I ask a question. – Aves2432 Sep 25 '19 at 15:25
  • Welcome to Drupal Answers! So far, you stated facts and asked a broad question like How do I achieve this? What we need in the question is a detailed description of what exactly you don't understand in achieving the task you described. – kiamlaluno Oct 4 '19 at 19:50
  • This also requires that you describe what you tried so far, what you obtained, and the difference between what you obtained and what you hoped to get. – kiamlaluno Oct 4 '19 at 19:51

It seems that there is a popular module to solve this problem. It can be achieved using a module called Views Bulk Operation, it also has excellent documentation.
