Using CKEditor's CKEditor Link plugin in a WYSIWYG field is a quick way to link to internal content. When the page gets rendered, the link URL is written using the node ID, like this /node/123 instead of the alias, something like this /path-to/my-page.

Is there a way to configure Drupal, CKEditor, or the CKEditor Link plugin to write the full alias instead of the node ID on the rendered page?

Note: From the CKEditor Link plugin page, it states:

The input format filter CKEditor Link Filter converts these raw paths into aliased URLs.

Isn't that it right there? This is enabled on my site, but doesn't seem to do anything.
