The grouping for CSS-JS Aggregation is done on what basis ?

For example, there are files A.js, B.js, C.js, D.js and E.js.

If I want A.js, C.js in an aggregated file called X.js and B.js, D.js and E.js in another aggregated file called Y.js, how do I achieve that ?

I tried using Group Attribute but its not working. What are the valid values for group attribute?

JS isn't grouped (see drupal.org/docs/8/theming/… and compare to the CSS table above that one). CSS is grouped by its SMACSS group as described here. Those are defined as constants so I'm not sure you can (or should try to) create your own, no telling what that might do in the future. I'm pretty sure the whole aggregation system is pluggable if you need to change how it works though – Clive Oct 1 '19 at 18:49
