When installed in a subdirectory clean URLs don't work

I have my Drupal installation in the subdirectory with the following config file

Clear url does not work with the above configuration and i am unable to figure out what is causing the issue. Clean urls work with the same configuration if the Drupal install was in the root directory but when moved to the subdirectory, clean urls do not work, please help me figure out the issue.

Found the solution. Need to specify the Location to the subdirectory. Changing the following confix fixed the issue

location /manage/d7/ {
    try_files $uri /manage/d7/index.php$query_string;
}

location @rewrite {
    rewrite ^/manage/d7/(.*)$ /manage/d7/index.php?q=$1;
}
