I'm doing a website which allows to buy custom objects. For this, I need that buyer upload a file on each product during add to cart or after in order to allow for using the supplied image. How to do this? I can't find module to do that. Can anyone suggest options to accomplish this task?

This question appears to be off-topic. The users who voted to close gave this specific reason:

  • "Questions asking to recommend or find a book, tool, module, theme, distribution, tutorial, or other off-site resource are off-topic for Drupal Answers as they tend to attract opinionated answers and spam. Instead, describe the problem and what has been done so far to solve it." – No Sssweat, leymannx, Jdrupal, kiamlaluno

for now can try drupal.org/docs/8/modules/commerce-webform-order but this would be better as an entity reff on the order – Taggart Jensen Nov 8 at 4:59

Welcome to Drupal Answers! From the question I am getting you are asking which module you should use. That is the reason it has been closed with the current reason. If instead you are generally asking Can anybody please help me? without requesting a module to use, then this question is too broad. You need to be more specific about what exactly you don't understand in the task you described, and ask an explicit question about that. – kiamlaluno Nov 8 at 12:23
  • Can anybody please help me? is essentially asking users to throw in everything they could know about the topic, to which you could reply yes, I know that or yes, I tried that, but it doesn't work. – kiamlaluno Nov 8 at 12:24
  • I agree however ... really this can be done semi out of the box by creating or editing a an order item type ... then adding a field of "image" see your site /admin/commerce/config/order-item-types/default/edit/fields - and changing the form mode for add to cart ect ... this allows for the collection of content but you would need custom view or or themeing work to dislpay image later the data lives ...$order = entity_load('commerce_order', $order_number); $order->order_items->referencedEntities(); – Taggart Jensen Nov 11 at 0:39
  • then need to edit /admin/structure/views/view/commerce_cart_form to include your new field – Taggart Jensen Nov 11 at 1:07
