Using Ubercart Pay-per-Node module, a user purchases posting Node rights to upload a set amount per order. Generally a Balance is set in their Ubercart Purchase history but on my testing site no such Balances are amended. Possibly because I haven't or cannot get the Rules to show to correct structure and data, After many hours, I'm totally confused and not sure if it can even be done now.

I have the Pay-Per-Node set as a Feature within a Product, but cannot seem to find the said data in Rules.

It works aok if I manually add purchase units via the Ubercart backend admin.

Can someone shed some light on this please on the general Rules process and how a Balance would or should be updated in ones account? I cannot see any relevant data details in the mySQL to help.

  • Again thanks for the tip! installed the Conditinal Module, but way over my beginners head I'm afraid. Can't find any reference to the uc_paypernode_products or uc_paypernode_tracker in any Rules Data as indicated in MySqL DB. Probably even barking up the wrong tree LOL. Might have to put it out to a bounty to get it to work. – Paul B Dec 30 '19 at 17:11
  • add conditions at ACTIONS area, the firts IF should be 'entity has field' choose your cart or whatever and try to find your field, if not, you are missing a connection between entitys – pinueve Dec 30 '19 at 17:31
  • Thanks again, I get as far as ACTIONS and Conditional IF, but no field_showing_pay_per_node_posting_balance of any kind shows in available lists. Its as if as you say it's not connected. At the moment whilst the UC Pay-Per-Node is a UC Feature assigned to a UC_Product, there is no particular Field set for the Product Node type as I presumed it was automatically assigned internally within Drupal as I presumed Pay-Per-Node module was just an add-on to UC (ubercart).
