I have a few hundred Drupal sites in which I need to submit webform submissions to multiple outside vendors via an email that contains XML tags. For example:

<PREDEFINED_TAG_FROM_VENDOR>[webform:submission:contact:yourinfo:first_name]</PREDEFINED_TAG_FROM_VENDOR>

It would make life a whole lot easier if I could programmatically have Drupal write out the webform token along with the predetermined XML definition rather than trying to pull this information out of post variables by hand and copy/paste/edit into a webform custom template.

My dream for this would be to have a custom field that I can put the XML in and assign the corresponding field to that tag.

I hope this makes sense.

Any suggestions would be awesome and save our web team a bunch of time.

I'm mainly focused on Drupal 8 as we will be transitioning member sites to Drupal 8 after the 2020 election. But if you have info for D7, that would help also.
