Our website is powered by Drupal 7 and have a bootstrap based rotating carousel on the home page, which has a link on each slide to a different page. This is powered by the Bootstrap Carousel module (https://www.drupal.org/project/bootstrap_carousel). When a new image is added with a link in the body of the field, it works fine. However, when the carousel is reverted to a previous revision, the content of the nodes (the carousel pages) and the content type field are both corrupted and only contain '<'. This makes me think that a module or something is modifing the content of the the body and breaking the links in this field.

I've disabled all modules apart from the following:
Administration Menu,
Administrative menu Toolbar,
Bootstrap Carousel,
Chaos Tools,
Date,
Date API,
Entity API,
Entity Reference,
Field,
Field Collection,
Field SQL Storage,
File,
Filter,
Image,
jQuery Update,
Libraries,
List,
Node,
Options,
System,
Taxonmy,
Text,
User
(This is only about half of the modules that are used by this site)

This only started happening since the last update (7.69) and to my knowledge was working ok on 7.64

Any suggestions or pointers are greatly appreciated
