I have a project that needs to get quotes (via UPS) of 4 50lb packages. I'm hitting the 150lb per "package" limit/error. Are there any solutions for changing the shipping request to UPS be for multiple packages or per package and then add the total?

Does Commerce's UPS shipping module not break orders into packages if the order weight is too high? In that case, this is really a bug report or feature request for that module. This is something that needs to be handled properly within the module's code. I know Ubercart's uc_ups module has been doing this properly for 10 years, so it seems to be a bit of a regression if commerce_ups didn't taken that into account. – anonymous Jan 5 at 22:50
