I have a taxonomy vocabulary (Tags) with the following terms.

  • term 1
  • term 2
    • term 3
    • term 4
    • term 5
  • term 6
  • term 7
  • term 8
    • term 9
    • term 10
    • term 11
    • term 12
    • term 13
      • term 14
  • term 15
  • term 16

I have an Article content type with a field_tags field, which can reference a single taxonomy term. This is the default Drupal 9 configuration.

I created a view block to display all Article nodes which is shown on the Article nodes.

I want to display in this block, all the articles belonging to the same group of terms (to the terms in bold and all its child terms).

Each term in bold represents a very different topic.

Here is an example of what I want.

  • If a node references term 13, then the block must display all the nodes of term 8 and its child terms.

  • If a node references term 8, then the block must display all the nodes of term 8 and its child terms.

  • If a node references term 6, then the block must display all the nodes of term 6, because it has no child term.

How can I build this view?
