Note: Running Drupal 7.

We are using the Feeds module to imports feeds for one content type from external CSV files that users FTP up. It works great but we need to limit the number of nodes that can be created by each user. For instance if we have a user that has a limit of 1,000 published nodes, and they already have 1,000, if they upload more it checks and doesn't import any.

If they have 900 nodes then it takes the first 100 from the CSV file and ignores the rest. If it makes a difference - We are using a unique ID for all nodes so it already won't accept any with the same ID.

If no way to limit the uploads is there a way, maybe using rules, that would do a node count, by user, then delete any over the limit set?
