View children items of parent and sub taxonomy terms on the same page

Question

I am working on a view with taxonomy terms. The taxonomy list has multiple levels of taxonomy terms, so for example:

• Level 1 (parent)
  • Level 2
    • Level 3
      • Level 4

I am using views_tree to create this. Right now if I click on a level 1 (parent) term, I only see terms from level 2.

My goal is the following: if I click on a level 1 term, I want to see level 2, level 3 and level 4 on the same page.

How can I do this?
