i'm having a Rule to send out email after an event of node event is created. Under Action of my rule and Message body, i insert [node:field_calendar_date]. i would then receive this 2012-12-14T08:00:00 in my email message. i would like for it to be like Friday, December 14, 4:00pm

i tried to follow format_date() http://api.drupal.org/api/drupal/includes%21common.inc/function/format_date/7 but it doesn't work.

i must use the wrong syntax. any help would be great.
