If I cant think of an example, does not make the question impractical molot. You want example, well I will give you one. Say I have a menu called "x unique visitors". I want to change "x" after every 1000 unique visits, like 1K, 2K, 3K. There may be more than one ways to solve this, so why not by updating the menu before rendering? Why is it so difficult for you to imagine a little bit? And most of all why do you think that my question is "impractical & unanswerable"? I thought this forum was to cultivate ideas also. Is it so hard to be polite around here?
Never mind my situation. That is better to be done with blocks. But what if somehow I want to change a menu programatically? I cant think of an example however, but isnt it an obvious requirement?
By title I mean the display title of the menu, i.e. the name. I want to dynamically change it to something. For example, say in my case, I want to show the unread private message count with the menu like "Messages (2)". Now I can get this count using the private message apis and will like to display the same in the above format. Hope this clears up a little bit.
Have you tried to view the query executed using the "dpq" function of the devel module? Also posting the code/query for which you are getting this problme will help.
Yeah, the break up of multiple dropdowns based on parent-child relationship is coming fine, thanks to this module. But, as I said, even if i dont use this module, and select the "Has taxonomy term" or "Has taxonomy terms (with depth)" the result is the same. That is if I select a parent category in the exposed filter, I am not getting all the nodes/contents that are associated with the parent and all of its children.
