Using Adaptivetheme subtheme how to have fixed width left column and fluid right?

How do I have a fixed width left column and fluid right? At the moment, in my panels config there is only the fluid layouts available e.g. AT Two column 33/66. Thanks in advance for anyone who can shed some light. I usually do backend stuff and this is for a basic personal portfolio.
