My name's Ed. I've been writing code and building websites professionally since 2005 when I was only a teenager in high school. Originally self-taught, I now attend Penn State University pursuing degrees in IST and Security Risk Analysis. I have real-world experience working as the front-end programmer to large-scale websites for corporations, shopping carts, and even some movies for the Hollywood entertainment business. I work on and own my own servers and know several programming languages including PHP, C#, C++, Python, ASP.NET, Java, and others. I have high working knowledge of Javascript and jQuery and also specialize in Databases, having experience working with MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and others.

I even do multimedia work, including trailer editing and sound/music production for Hollywood movie trailers. Besides work, I play guitar and bass. I am also a black belt in Shotokan martial arts of 17 years.

I am on Stackoverflow to learn and help others. Countless times throughout the years I have come across the site with answers to problems I was having or useful code solutions. I now like to give back to others with my areas of expertise.
