I am very new and not a developer. I would like to create two main menu links for newsletter content type (simplenews) and the core articles type. I want the behavior to be the same as blog.

I assumed that simplenews would add the link when installed but it did not. I have been searching the net for hours, I cannot find a solution.

How much I understand go to structure > menu > main menu and click "add link" for Drupal 7 and structure > menu > main navigation for Drupal 8 enter image description here enter image description here enter image description here and for this, you need to create two views one is for newsletter content type and second is for article content type. You can make the view by going to structure > views > add new view for both Drupal 7 and 8. The view type must be page not block. enter image description here enter image description here
